Taylor Swift is definitely one of my style crushes! The singer always manages to look sexy and sweet at the same time with her vintage, retro-inspired style, and she’s been stepping up her beauty game lately too. Recently, Taylor threw her hair up into this cute bun to promote her new fragrance. The adorable ‘do paired quite nicely with her super pretty makeup, don’t you think?

Justine Piecuch, stylist at Newburyport’s Beautique, is sharing her tips for getting Taylor’s look at home!

“This hairstyle is a go-to whether you’re going out or just running some errands for the day,” Piecuch says.

1. This hairstyle can be done with or without bangs, so don’t worry if you don’t have them cut. If you do want to cut them, make sure you set up an appointment at your local salon.
2. Start off with day old, smooth hair. The ballerina bun can be done by gathering all the hair on the top part of your head. Twist the hair to make it contained and wrap it in a coil. If it’s hard to keep control of the hair, you can also start by making a ponytail on top of your head, then twisting and wrapping in a coil.
3. Next, secure your bun with bobby pins.
4. Voila, you’re done! If desired, you can spritz with a hairspray, but this style is best left alone.
