Manage your man’s mane
Listen up, ladies! Is there a man in your life who needs a little help with his hair? Not sure which direction to send him in? I’ve got a few hints and tips to make managing your man’s hair a little more manly. Share these four things with your guy, and hopefully, it will help point him in the right direction!
Whether it’s at a barber shop or a salon, find a stylist you like and stick with him or her. This makes everything a lot easier! When you find a style you like or are looking to switch it up a bit, they will know exactly how to help.
If you’re trying to grow your hair out like Brad Pitt, that’s fine, but just make sure you go in for regular trims (your stylist, ah-hem, will know how to help). If you like to keep your hair shorter, head to your stylist every four to six weeks to keep your style fresh. Ladies don’t like an unkempt mane.
No, not the floral scent volumizing mousse your girlfriend has. I’m talking about some manly products — I swear they really do exist! My man’s go-to: Woody’s Moisturizing Bar and American Crew Fiber Pliable Molding Cream. Both of these brands are made exclusively for men, have a great fresh scent and will handle your manly hair with ease.
Go see your stylist for regular trims, wash your hair every other day, rinse or wash after a long workout, use dandruff shampoo if you need to, etc. You get the picture, right? Don’t think having great looking hair is a feminine thing. It just means you are taking care of you hair.
OK ladies, I think that covers it. Our men can be manly and rock some great hair at the same time. Personally, I think a little product for the slightly messy look is very appealing. What do you think? Does your man use product? It took a great female stylist suggesting it to him, but my husband did finally give in.
